My name is Kevin Boroumand, and I am a Realtor with Realty ONE Group in Bellevue, WA. I started Beat Multiple Offers to finally give the power back to the home buyers in King & Snohomish county in Washington state.
My real estate journey started for me back when I worked as a lead generation software account executive with a company called Market Leader in Bellevue, WA. It was a challenging, but fun job. On a daily basis, I talked with real estate agents all over the country and learned the ins and outs of lead generation. But one thing really stuck with me:
Home buyers are not being properly represented in real estate transactions.
Yes - our market is very competitive. Sometimes you lose in a multiple offer situation no matter how perfect your offer and rapport is. But the agent you choose to represent you will be an X factor in many, many transactions. In Washington state, the qualifications for becoming a licensed agent is 90 hours and a 2 part exam.
Many newly licensed agents don't know what they are doing, at all. And on top of that, many of the experienced agents in our area are either not tech-savvy enough or have the necessary intangibles to succeed in our current market.
